It saddens me
immensely to know that black cats are the most euthanized cat.
Ridiculous superstitions and myths mean that many people will not
choose a black cat for a pet, simply due to the colour of its fur. In
my view, this is no different to judging people by the colour of their
skins.
If you're planning to adopt a shelter cat, please consider a black cat
because they are the ones most likely to be left behind.
Photographing Black Cats
Don't
use a black background - you'll hardly be able to see the cat!
Avoid
shooting the cat against a wall as the black shadow behind her may
merge with
her body.
Look
out for dark shadows generally, especially around the head.
